LLPTI Laboratory services, Providing Quality testing services to the leather & Leather products sector of Ethiopia
The laboratory wing of the institute was constituted with the following main objectives:-
To render technical services to its customers through testing and certification for their products, poised to satisfy their export and domestic market clients
To advice technical issues pertaining to quality and standards problems related to their products and materials.
To manage and upgrade the laboratory to instill quality systems Per international regulations (ISO/IEC 17025:2005)
To assist in the research and development activities in the field of leather and leather products using the laboratory facilities
To assist in the technical process and consultancy services that is required by the industries
To maintain records and control the documentations which are the essential requirements for the functioning of the laboratory services to the customers.
To assist the institute LLPTI in the training deliveries too its trainers, where the laboratory system is concerned.
To lease with the material quality institution QSAE, which is the central contact for the ISO 9001:2005 and flows its rules regulations and governance and further extend its calibrations services.
